c2learn Academy: Creativity and Games in Education
Stay up-to-date! Find current info on C2Learn Teacher Training at c2learn.ea.gr
How can we foster creativity in education? Can we use student-engaging games in this effort? Can we, as educators, design learning activities to this end? Can we involve our students as creative actors in this design?
Are you interested in creativity and/or games in learning? Join us! We will be exploring synergies of creativity and digital games in today’s schools, co-designing educational activities together with you and with your own professional context in mind.
Training for teachers and other school education staff
Sharing our rich experiences from the C2Learn project with school communities around Europe, we offer a flexible variety of opportunities for teachers and other school staff to explore creativity and the use of games in learning. We organize:
• 6-day practical, workrshop-based structured training courses
• 5-day job-shadowing/observation periods including workshop-based training in our school
• 3-day training workshops in conjunction with wider events (e.g. relevant conferences).
The training activities take place in various locations in Greece, from the surroundings of Athens to pleasant resorts by the sea or in the mountains, depending on the kind of the event and the time in the year. Have a look under 'Programme' for our current planning for years 2014 and 2015.
Please contact us to express your interest, get more and updated information, and reserve places for yourself or your staff.
Get your professional development funded by Europe!
Your participation in our professional development activities can be funded through the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Commission, as part of mobility projects for school education staff under Key Action 1 ‘Learning Mobility of Individuals’. If you are interested, your school (not you individually) should apply for this to the National Agency in your country (deadline: 17th March for school projects starting as of 1st July of the same year; NOTE: in 2014 the deadline has been extended to 24th March 2014).
We will be happy to help you and your school with your staff mobility projects
We want to offer valuable learning experiences that will bring positive and long-lasting effects on the participants of our training activities, and through them, on their schools and wider educational systems. Acting as a ‘receiving organisation’, we are here to support you and your school before, during, and after your training, throughout the preparation, implementation and follow-up stages of your project. Being ourselves an active, innovative school, we know what it takes to run a successful Erasmus+ mobility project in the field of education. Meeting your professional development needs and helping you successfully implement your European Development Plan is important to us.
